This is doing my head in, am i the only person in Eve thats suffering from this? My corp, gang and local were all working fine up until the fecking patch. Even for a few days since the patch then boom it all stopped. I reinstalled EVE.. booted eve...

you know im really really surprised how this game did so well in the UK magazine reviews. Did you try turing your sound acceleration to off or basic in DXDIAG ( start >> run >>dxdiag )

is there no software you can run that will monitor the temperature of your hardware incase it is hardware related? Try all avenues.

run Network stumbler to see if theres interference and or other networks in your area. Maybe run Airsnare too ..see if anyone using your bandwidth.

enable the sound card again. Reduce its acceleration to basic in DX ( dxdiag at run box ) Increase buffer size to 256 in your prefs.ini ( from the default 80 )

ive disabled it via the advice in this forum as im having crashes galore. And ill replace when i do the big upgrade in a few months time. other than that.. any idea?
